- Work Order Traceability is concerned with the capture of manufacturing information in order to provide real-time work order updates within NetSuite. Traceability establishes this visibility with respect to these key areas: ¥ operation start/stop times ¥ production counts - at operation level if desired ¥ employee responsible for activity All data is associated to the relevant manufacturing Work Order record by Operational to aid in Dashboard reporting and continuous improvement activities. The Advanced Manufacturing mobile application provides the ability for shop floor personnel to record "Production Results" (i.e. counts of units completed) which in turn drives Work Order Completion and visibility into Work Order progress. The application supports: ¥ concurrent employees contributing to the same operation ¥ incremental or summary level recording of counts ¥ checks against overproduction - as specified by the NetSuite settings All production result records and related transactions are summarized in the Work Order Record under the Advanced Manufacturing sub-list. Several standard Saved Searches leverage the captured Production Results to provide reporting visibility. The Advanced Manufacturing records also allow for new saved searches, dashboards or reports.
