- When recording an Inventory Transfer, the inventory is decreased in locations where items are removed and increased in the locations they are moved to. A basic inventory transfer changes the item count in both locations in one step. This enables accurate tracking of each item in each location. You must have multi-location inventory enabled to allow for inventory transfers.
