Explain the overall strategy that will be used to import data; ensure the following topics are addressed:<BR><br>When the imports are to take place (i.e. 2 weeks before go live), we do not import over the weekend as standard practice<BR><br>How long the imports will take (this becomes important if the file sizes are significant, remember the rule of thumb is 1 second per record (3600 per hour)<BR><br>Where the imports will happen (this becomes important if they have a sandbox or account copy instance and want test runs; test imports count towards the overall counts in the Statement of Work)<BR><br>Dependencies (if there are data dependencies these should be included)<BR><br>Keep in mind that the data strategy for some items may differ from other items (i.e. Historical information should be able to be brought into the system&nbsp;<BR><br>For Example:<BR><ul><li>Three imports per data component will conducted as part of the migration process:</li><li>Test Import: 10-15 Records will be imported into the Production account as a test</li><li>Main Batch: all static transactions, all list data available is imported into the Production account</li><li>Catch up Batch: all data that has been added between the ‘Main Batch’ cut-off date and the ‘Go Live Data” cut-off date is imported into the Production account</li></ul>
