- NetSuite simplifies the process of specifying product images by automatically associating images to products through the use of an established naming convention. All it takes to specify product images is naming each image file in a certain way, and uploading it to a specific folder in the file cabinet. The first step in setting up images for SuiteCommerce Advanced is to name each of your image files with an item identifier. Decide on a naming convention that includes an item identifier for image files intended for your SuiteCommerce Advanced web site. Use the Item Identifier field to choose a field on item records that NetSuite can use to link image files together with item records. Setting the Item ID Delimiter and Structure Delimiter The Item ID Delimiter is a character used to let the system determine where the Item Identifier field ends within the file name. It is very important that this character is not contained within the Item Identifier value. The Structure Delimiter can be very useful for more complex use cases, such as when multiple color images may be available for a product. Important Note: The URL component field cannot include any underscores, since this would invalidate the naming convention featured. After you have completed renaming all of the image files you want to associate with item records, select a domain and create a new folder for storing the image files. Enabling the Zoom-in functionality on Product Details Pages Zoomed functionality will become available once the shopper hovers over the main image, provided that the image has been uploaded to the file cabinet with appropriate dimensions specifications. The actual dimensions specifications will be provided by Professional Services.
