- Three types of employee groups can be created for working with issues: Product Team group The product team group is selected in the Product Team field on the issue record. Product teams designate who is responsible for resolving an issue. Members of this team are emailed when an issue is first entered so that everyone is aware of the problem. Functional Team groups The functional team group can be emailed copies of the issue from the Communication subtab on issue records. All product team groups can be flagged as functional team groups and then additional function team groups can be created for other teams that need to be emailed. Issue Role/ Issue Queue groups When a role is selected that corresponds to the role of this group's members, this group can be assigned to issues. One group can be a product team and a functional team in addition to having an issue role if needed.
