- The Knowledge Base feature helps to organize and publish information specific to the business. Knowledge Bases can be created to organize FAQs or to publish information to the NetSuite account and Web site. Building a Knowledge Base is useful for cutting down on customer service cases. Customers can access the Knowledge Base from the Customer Center at any time to find the answers to their questions. Creating solutions for the knowledge base is also useful for shortening the time Support Reps spend answering cases. Support reps can quickly search solutions to find the answer to a customer's question, attach the solution and close the case. The text of the solution is sent to customer. Support reps can also create new solutions and assign them to reviewers from the case record. Approval is required for publishing solutions but can be optional for support use. Some common uses for knowledge bases are: <BR><ul><li>Organizing solutions that your support reps can search and attach to cases </li><li>Conveying information to your employees through their access to your account </li><li>Providing information to your customers through your Web site</li></ul>
