- Time can be entered by employees and booked directly against projects and tasks. Actual time entered is compared to the estimated work for each task (and at the aggregate level against the estimated work for the project) to provide an estimated completion percentage. In addition to supervisors, project managers or an alternate time approver can approve time. The project manager can only approve time for employees assigned to projects they manage. Each project can be set up with specific attributes defining that project's time with regards to the productivity of the consultant. For example, a project may be set up as follows: <BR><ul><li>Utilizable: generally any customer facing work </li><li>Productive: generally either customer facing work OR internal work that counts towards commissions </li><li>Exempt: Any time, such as holidays, that should reduce the overall number of hours in the denominator of the utilization/productivity equation</li></ul>
